Current Wildlife Education Project Powered with Bitcoin
Proudly powered by Bitcoin, we currently support the students of the Bushbabies Education Project by giving them a unique opportunity to connect with elephants in person.
For many of these students, who live near wildlife reserves but have never had the chance to interact closely with the animals, meeting elephants is a transformative experience. It helps them understand the deep ecological, cultural, and emotional significance of these gentle giants—fostering empathy, curiosity, and a sense of responsibility for wildlife conservation.
By learning about elephant behavior, habitat needs, and the challenges they face, the students gain valuable insight into how human actions can impact ecosystems and how they can become future guardians of their natural heritage.

Bitcoin donations are accepted by our organisation and held in self-custody. In line with our mission and governance framework, we determine how and when funds are allocated to conservation and community initiatives. We do not hold Bitcoin on behalf of third parties.
When we choose to support this project, Bitcoin is transferred to the supervising HERD Trust, with whom we maintain a close working relationship. The HERD Trust holds the funds in its own self-custodied wallet, enabling transparent and secure support for the ongoing care and wellbeing of the Jabulani elephant herd and the HERD Elephant Orphanage.
Through this partnership, we support not only the long-term protection of elephants and their caretakers, but also help inspire the next generation of conservationists—demonstrating how responsible innovation can strengthen sustainability and conservation efforts.
